Our first school show of the season! We have partn Our first school show of the season! We have partnered with Aurora Cultural Centre to be part of their Kaleidoscope in the Schools bring art experiences to students.

Our first stop of our Aurora shows was at Hartman Public School, thank you to all the staff and students for welcoming us into your school and dancing with us today!

A dance film that will take you across Canada, bringing to life the ancient Chinese philosophy of the 5 Elements, Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth. Each element offers a unique experience with a soundtrack curated by each artist. Featuring 5 choreographers from around Canada, they are Emily Cheung in Manitoba, Samantha Sutherland in Lake Nipissing First Nation, Jaipei Ma in Quebec, Chengxin Wei in British Columbia, and Lydia Zimmer in Nova Scotia.

Celebrating the year of the rabbit! 🐰🐰🐰 Celebrating the year of the rabbit! 🐰🐰🐰
On the first day of the Lunar New Year, Vaughan Mills and York Region Arts Council invited us to help ring in the New Year! Thank you to everyone for celebrating with our amazing dancers and us! Thank you to Vaughan Mills and York Region Arts Council for your support and generosity! 

You have until February 5th, 2023 to enter the beautiful garden at Vaughan Mill’s Event Court to write down your well-wishes for the new year. For every wish made, Vaughan Mills will donate $1 to the Mackenzie Health Foundation.

We lost a legend 宋長榮 Peking Opera master. St We lost a legend 宋長榮 Peking Opera master. Still remembered the excitement when our founder William Lau learned his famous repertoire 《紅娘》the transformation was mind blowing to the dance scene in Canada!  And the look on his face was the exact expression of Master Song.  Thank you William for helping us send flowers to his funeral on our behalf. Forever grateful to meet Master Song in person when he flew to Canada by our invitation.  Our deepest condolences to his family and 弟子🙏
This week, we did movement workshops inspired by C This week, we did movement workshops inspired by Chinese Calligraphy with an amazing group of students at Cawthra Park Secondary School. Thank you for inviting us! @cawthra.dance
