Beneath the surface of history, something stirs. Beneath the surface of history, something stirs. Echoes of the Underworld is an 18+ immersive dance experience conceived by choreographer Emily Cheung in collaboration with the dancers. Blending movement, folklore, and ritual, this site-responsive work invites audiences to step inside a world where demonic myths, ancestral memory, and forbidden desire intertwine. Set within the historic walls of Campbell House Museum in Toronto, the performance unfolds around you. There is no stage. No fixed perspective. Only shifting allegiances, fractured narratives, and the unsettling pull of the underworld. You will move. You will choose. You will witness what was never meant to be seen.
